Dr Katherine is a General Dentist at Smilerite. She completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at The University of Newcastle (UK) in 2008 and obtained the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2010.
She has over 15 years of experience in primary care and restorative dentistry obtained in the UK, Singapore and (most recently!) Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining SmileRite she worked for 10 years as a general dentist at an National Health Service surgery outside Edinburgh, where she also provided community care and helped with out-of-hours treatment at the Edinburgh Dental Institute.
She is a member of both the College of General Dentistry and the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Restorative Dentistry programme at the University of Edinburgh via distance learning.
She has a passion for providing a high standard of care and always has the comfort and best interests of her patients in mind.
She relocated to Abu Dhabi in 2023 with her husband and two sons. As a family they enjoy experiencing different cultures and have travelled extensively across Europe, Asia and the US. When she’s not at SmileRite Katherine is also an active volunteer at Operation Smile UAE where she helps assist in the care of young children born with cleft lip and palate conditions.
